    Students from SASF's Champions Club performing arts after-school programs at I.S. 178 and Truman High School will perform a song and dance tribute to the music of Motown.

  • 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM: IS 285 Champions Club Black History Month Dance Performance
    Location: IS 285K 5909 Beverly Rd. Brooklyn, NY 11203

    The Champions Club after-school program at IS 285K will perform a dance routine honoring Black History Month.  Parents, teachers and community members will be on hand to enjoy the performance and celebrate.

  • 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM: C.H.A.M.P.S. Volleyball Showcase
    Location: J.H.S. 217 Q 85-05 144 STREET QUEENS, NY11435

    On this final of four saturdays, SASF and the NYC Dept. of Education will conduct a C.H.A.M.P.S. middle school volleyball showcase for about 10 participating schools. The day will feature a round-robin competition for co-ed teams from middle schools throughout the city.

    SASF's monthly Program Enhancement Conference (PEC) for after-school site directors will focus on general staff development training.


  • 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: PS 111 M Champions Club "70s Revival" Performance
    Location: PS 111 M 440 West 53 Street New York, NY 10019

    The Champions Club after-school program will perform a 70s-themed music and dance production for family, friends and the community.

  • 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: IS 125Q Champions Club Art Show Opening
    Location: Queens Library - Long Island City Branch 37-44 21st St., 2nd Floor Long Island City, NY 11101

    SASF's Champions Club after-school program at IS 125Q will present student-produced art work to family, friends and community members at their Art Show Opening in the Long Island City Library.  The art work will be on dispaly at the library through mid-April.
     
    At the opening, refreshments will be served and stuents and their art instructors will be on hand to talk about the work.

  • 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM: SASF NBA Fit Recognition Day at MSG
    Location: Madison Square Garden Penn Plaza New York, NY 10119

    The top 16 performers from the SASF/Knicks NBA Fit Competition will be recognized with their families and school principals on the floor of Madison Square Garden during halftime of the Knicks game.

    The Champions Club after-school program at PS 150 X will host a "Family Social Night" open house for students' families and friends.  Refreshments will be served.
