Center for Sports Instruction
In response to an urgent need throughout New York City for well-trained sports coaches and athletic instructors, SASF created the Center for Sports Instruction in 2001. Since then, the center’s mission has remained constant: to properly train the professionals that provide after-school sports programming in NYC public schools.

SASF’s faculty of leading sports and fitness instructors have provide expert on-site training, guidance and logistical support to schools teachers and after-school directors city-wide. Using an exciting and detailed skill-based approach to teaching, SASF provides all the necessary knowledge, skill development and programming outlines to ensure the successful high-quality implementation of sports and fitness activities by professional participants.
